Thetford Grammar 01

Continued from My Cornhill Walk diary 06-06.04.2009

Monday 27 April 2009 - Today the painting of St. Edmund was due to be displayed within the new Chapel of Transfiguration at St. Edmundsbury Cathedral. I went to Thetford Grammar School to commence a Thomas Paine wall painting project with the students.

Tuesday 28 April 2009 - Continued painting. Photographer Sonia from the Eastern Daily Press turned up to take some shots. The students found huge pleasure in having their hands painted for leaving their mark upon the wall.

Wednesday 29 April 2009 - the wall is covered. From now on it will be largely be a matter of attending to details.

Thursday 30 April 2009 - The progress has been swift. Today I was stuggling to find things for the children to do. However, they came up with ideas and concepts which became imagery upon the wall.

Friday 01 May 2009 - Last day of painting. I was asked by one of the students if I believed in heaven and hell? I replied that the world energy is within you all the time and you choose whether your experience is heaven or hell since you are infinite consciousness. Of course, what I should have said was: of course I believe in heaven, it sits just on the edge of Coney Weston and Ben lives there in a bender in a field called heaven. Even Glen Miller performed with an orchestra there once!

Artheads had a fund raiser in Bury St. Edmunds this evening. My painting Kaunos'ta Fasil: There's a lady who knows was purchased and helped raised money for their project.
